TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (October 29, 2018) – Tallahassee Community College's softball team has received team and individual honors in the Easton/NFCA Scholar-Athlete Awards for the 2017-18 academic year.
The Eagles, who had a 3.11 GPA, were one of just 40 schools across all three associations of two-year athletics to receive team honors.
Individually, more than 6,000 student-athletes garnered Easton Scholar-Athlete honors, including six different Eagles, for achieving a minimum 3.50 GPA during the last academic year.
Lily Adams and Brandie Callaway led the way for Tallahassee, posting a 4.0 GPA. Samantha Malik, Callie Paine, Ismay Poot and Hanna Stapleton rounded out the Eagles' academic all-stars.
