TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (March 22, 2017) - There was no shortage of offense on Wednesday evening when Tallahassee Community College and Gulf Coast State College hooked up in a Panhandle Conference doubleheader.

The teams split the pair of games at the TCC Softball Complex with Tallahassee taking game one, 15-12. Gulf Coast State salvaged the split with a 14-13 win in the nightcap.

The much-needed victory got Tallahassee (15-15) into the win column in the PC standings, where the Eagles are now 1-7, just one game back of Pensacola State College, who fell to 2-6 after being swept by Northwest Florida State College on Wednesday.

The Eagles will step out of conference for a doubleheader at Andrew (Ga.) College on Friday. Game one begins at 4:30 p.m.
