Stepping Stones: Tyler Lala, Mars Hill

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (August 17, 2019)—Tallahassee Community College baseball standout Tyler Lala has signed a national letter of intent with Mars Hill University. 

Lala, who is from Tampa, Fla., transferred to Tallahassee after playing his freshman season at Lander University. 

Lala appeared in 46 games in 2019, playing for head coach Mike McLeod's Eagles. He tallied a .288 batting average, two home runs and 20 RBI. 

Lala earned all-academic honors from the Panhandle Conference in 2019. 

Located in Mars Hill, N.C., the NCAA Division II Lions compete in the South Atlantic Conference.
