2018 Fall Schedule

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (September 7, 2018) – Tallahassee Community College will open its fall baseball schedule on Saturday when it hosts the Triton Rays at 1 p.m. at Eagle Field.

The start of “Fall Ball” ushers in, what will be, head coach Mike McLeod’s 29th season with the Eagles. Hired in 1990, Tallahassee played a club season in 1991 before beginning play as members of the NJCAA and Panhandle Conference the following season. McLeod will enter the 2019 season needing just 44 wins to reach 1,000 for his career.

Eleven of the Eagles’ 19 fall games are at home, culminating with the annual TCC Eagle Round Robin on Friday and Saturday, October 19 and 20. Tallahassee will play Panhandle Conference rivals Chipola College and Northwest Florida State College on day one of the event and a doubleheader against Gulf Coast State College on the second day.

Tallahassee and Florida A&M will play a home-and-home on October 9 and 16, the latter at Eagle Field as part of an Eagle-Rattler doubleheader with the schools’ softball teams.

The fall schedule also includes annual visits to the Chipola College Fall Classic (September 16), the University of West Florida Fall Classic (October 4) and the Gulf Coast State College Fall Classic (October 12).

Following the fall finale at Santa Fe College (October 24), select members of the Eagles will travel to Lakeland, Fla., for the FCSAA Fall All-Star Classic on October 27.
