TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (July 31, 2018) – Tallahassee Community College's men's and women's basketball teams' pre-season schedules will again include its annual October jamborees at the Bill Hebrock Eagledome and Lifetime Sports Complex.

The Eagle men will host the Southeastern Jamboree on Sunday, October 7, an event featuring 18 of the nation's top teams. The following weekend, on Saturday, October 13, a total of 24 teams will participate in the Southern Challenge Jamboree, hosted by the Tallahassee women.

By utilizing all courts in the facility, three games will be played simultaneously with each round starting on the hour.

The men's event will tip off at 11 a.m. with the final round starting at 7 p.m. The women's event will begin at 9 a.m. while the final round of games will crank up at 8 p.m.

In addition to Tallahassee, the lineup of men's teams includes three of the Eagles' four Panhandle Conference rivals – Chipola College, Gulf Coast State College and Northwest Florida State College – and nine other schools from Florida.

Eastern Florida State College, who finished third in the 2018 national tournament, headlines the remaining Region 8 entries in the jamboree. The Titans will be joined by ASA College Miami, College of Central Florida, Daytona State College, Florida State College at Jacksonville, Hillsborough Community College, Polk State College, Santa Fe College and St. Petersburg College.

The remaining five teams scheduled for the Southeastern Jamboree are Albany (Ga.) Technical College, Shelton (Ala.)
